Almost the end of the school year!
It is almost the end of the school year which means we get we months off. On my two months off I will go quading, fishing, work, and do other fun things like go visit my family and go to a carnival fair type thing. I think this summer break will be really fun. Usually at the end of the summer break I get board and want to go back to school, but in half of the school year I get annoyed of school and just want to drop out but i never will. Next year when school starts I will be in grade nine. I only have 1 real school day left. On Friday I start exams and we get to leave at ten, and that last up to next Wednesday. I get Thursday off, and then on Friday it is the school assembly and that is the last day. I will have lot of fu on my summer holiday.

I Want A Dirtbike!
Here in Snow Lake a lot of people have been getting dirtbikes. I like dirtbiking it is fun, but I don’t have one. I am going to try and save my money to buy one though. Hopefully I will save up enough money to bu one. If I buy a dirtbike I will probably want a Honda cr 100, 125 or 150. I wouldn’t want a four stroke though because they are slower.

Long Weekend!!
This past weekend was the long weekend. I thought it was awesome. I spent my whole long weekend at my cabin. I went quading, hunting, watched t.v, and did a little work around the cabin like hauling wood, and cleaning up.
My favourite part was probably quading. When I gotmy new tires on my quad, my quad threw up way more mud and it didnt get stuck as easy. I got my quad full of mud. The only part that was visible was the seat and the handle bars. My dad’s friend and my friend came out to. We went quading, she took her quad and I took mine, and we went through all the mud and water.
I love the long weekend because we have an extra day to relax and have fun.

The Truth And Nothing But The Truth!!
What is truth: The meaning of the word truth is from honesty, and good faith. It means that you are not Lieing.
What I know to be true is that life has it’s ups and down’s, but you just want to continue living it. Like when I found out my parents were breaking up I was pretty sad but then I got over it because I knew they were never going to get back together. I was sad at the beginning but then over time I just thought it was for the better because know they arn’t fighting.
I know that my family cares about me and that they love me. All though they give me chores, and rules and stuff like that, I know they still care about me because they are always there for me and they always helping out. Like when I got in trouble with the cops, my parents helped me by paying the fines and helping me like that. they buy me my food, and some of my cloth. They also get me all my essentials need’s in life.
I know that sometimes in life I just want to quite because I get stressed out from school and sometimes from home. Like when sometimes substitute teachers come in at school and my teacher leaves for a few days, I sometimes don’t get a long with my substitute and I want to just leave the school but I get over it.
That is what I think is the truth. well got to go bye…..

Quading!!!
This weekend I went quading at m friend Taiyas house. When I was quading I was with Moike. Me and Mike were doing brake stands, donuts, trail riding, and even a little water riding! It all started like this: Me and mike whent through this one trail, (we didnt even knew where it whent) so I drove down it and it lead to the lake. Mike was too scared to go turn on the lake so I had to do it. He through, but it didnt. Then when we came out of the trail we were driving in the ditchesand doing brake stands in the snow and getting tuck. Then we came across this huge pond so mike dared me to go in it, so i went around it (making a new trail, by breaking down trees with the frunt bumper, then i made it around the big pond so Then we were driving around the ditches and roads and came across the same pons, so then he dared me to go through the middle, so I did, ( I knew Is shouldn’t of) so then I got to about the middle of the pond and the quad sank up to the muffler and it got stuck, so i had to push the quad out and it was up to my chest and mike drove it out, so then we stopped driving it. Then ten miniutes later me and mike whent home.

New Fox quading gear!
Yesterday I got some new quading gear from a store called Royal Distributing in Ontario. I got a fox tracer helmet, fox dirt paw gloves and I got fox goggles. When I put my helmet on it was too small and it was the wrong colour so I had to send it back and get my new size and the different colour. The one I wanted was black and red an the one I got was blue and white. I thought it was really ugly, but the one i want will probably be here next week or so. Fox is my favourite type of brand name clothing at accessories. Well that is it bye……

Hey for the new people that are comming to my blog that don’t know me…I am Kelsey. I live in Snow Lake. I like to play guitar hero, rockband, and other games on Ps2. I like going quading and skidooing. Biking is also very fun. I like hanging out with freinds too. I go to school at Joseph H. Kerr school. I like it. My favourite subject is language arts.

Quading allready!!!
Hey its me just got something to say…This past three weeks it is beginning to warm up in Snow Lake, all the snow is melting and it is a bout time to take out the quads and motor bikes. I won’t be quadding all that much this year but ill quad a little bit. My quad is a yamaha 400 Kodiak. It is old. My dad uses it for work around my cabin though so it barley gets used. I would go every day if I was aloud though. I will probably only be aloud to use it some times. I go quading will be quading with my friends Paige, Randy may be Devon maybe Katie and maybe Logyn. They all have quads and dirtbikes. Randy has the only dirtbike out of my friends and everybody else has quad, I would rather have a quad though. well got to go bye….
This quad is like mine, but my quad is green and it is a 1994.

What Would You Like To Learn?
What would you like to learn? I would like to learn a bunch of things. I would like to learn how to drive a standerd truck, how to fix houses, quads, skidoos, dirtbikes, and trucks. I also want to learn how to do takes, and income taxes. I would also want to learn how to do more but I cant think of anything off the top of my head.
All of these things would be really great to know, but will I learn them all. I probably won’t learn all of this stuff, but for sure ill learn some. If I had to pick three thing learn at my age right now (13) I would probably pick how to fix my house, how to do income taxes, how to fix a quad, how to fix a skidoo and how to fix a truck.
I would want to learn these things now so when I get older and want to buy a house I could fix it if it anything ever breaks on it, and I would allready know what to do. When I have a job I could do my income taxes, and get income. If my quad or skidoo ever broke down on me I would be able to fix instead of walking home to go get my dad. And when I was older and my truck died on me when I was travelling I could just check what is wrong, and then fix it.
I think all this stuff would help me through life. It would be better to learn stuff when you are young because you would know it for all your life.

What Do You Need From A Parent? Now? When your older? When you were younger?
What do you need from a parent? What I need from my parents are, love, attention, food, shelter, education, freedom, money, rules, and I need fun stuff like skidoo’s, and quad’s.
I need all this stuff for a really good life. My parents mainly provide me with my life because they buy me everything that I need. My parents mainly let me do anything because they let me have a lot of freedom. They give me a lot of love, and attention, because they love me. They provide me with food, water and shelter. That is what keeps me alive. They give me money when ever I ask them for it, so I can buy myself stuff. They also make me have rules. I like the rules they give me though because they keep me safe. I also need fun stuff in life like quads and skidoos. They let me use the quad and skidoos, when I ask, which is awesome. I am glad that my parents can provide me with all this stuff.
I really need my parents. If I didn’t have my parents to help me through my life, I would probably die.

What is Culture?
My Definition to culture is: Culture is a bunch of tings that you do like make different types of food, and speak different languages . Culture is something that a your whole family does to honor where you came from or where you were borne.
Culture is made up of many different things. Culture is made out of beliefs, food choices, clothing, different types of languages, holidays, traditions, and religions. I think that is what makes up a culture.
Culture doesn’t mean a lot to me because I don’t celebrate any cultural events beside Thanks Giving, Easter, Christmas, New Years, and Halloween. What we do on those day is that we just have a turkey or chicken dinner with a lot of food like potatoes, salad, and stuff like that. That’s all we celebrate in my house. Just like all the other canadian families. That’s all the culture I have in my family. There are many different culture but I really dont know any. I don’t study other people’s cultures beside my own. I don’t really know that much about my culture anyways.
I dont think culture should be boxed up, I think everybody should celebrate there own culture more. I think it is a little bit rude to just box off our cultures. I also think that someone should be in there own culture all there life, and not just leave there culture to go to a different culture.

Success
Success what does this mean? What success means to me is that you enjoy life. Success is that you can say that you are happy with everything you got. It would be successful if you had a good job, a wife, kids, a house, and friends. It would be successful to own a car or have a good education. There are many ways you can be successful in life.
There are a lot of successful people in life. I can say I am successful because I have good friends, I have a good family, I have a lot of fun in life, and I have a good education. I enjoy my life a lot. I think my teacher Mr. Fisher is successful because he has a great job, a good family, and he enjoys life. I think my dad is successful because he has a good job, he has a lot of money, he has a great family, and he is happy most of the time. I also think Thomas Edison was successful because he created the light bulb, he made the motion picture camera, and he made the phonograph. Thomas Edison also made more but that was only some of the things. Thomas Edison had a great life because he liked doing what he did, and he was famous for it.
Succeeding in life is always great, I think everybody should try to be successful.

Content!
When I finished my project I knew ten times more about animal cruelty than when I first started learning about it.
I learnt that if you abuse an animal in any way, you could get sent to jail and possibly get a fine. If you ever see an animal get abused, you should report the animal to the RCMP and a local SPCA or animal shelter. Animal abuse is in the law book and it is a real crime. I also learnt that when a person abuses their pet, they wont get their pet back and they will never be aloud to own a pet again. I also now know that a lot of people are trying really hard to put a end to it. Animal cruelty happens everyday in life, and that brings down the number in animals. There are many ways people abuse their own pets and others. Animal abuse is very wrong and everybody should try their best to stop it.
I wish everybody will realize what happens when they abuse animals, and I hope they will try their best to stop.
How I got my information!
For my Ted-talks project, I got my information from many great sources.
The main way I got my information for my project was the web. The web is a great way to get information on anything. The main search engine I used was google. I also sent emails to people that run groups and such, by using the web. I sent at least six - eight emails. I got some pretty good emails, and they gave me a lot of information. The web is my first source of information that I chose for research.
I also got some information from library books. I rarely ever use books for research. I dont like using library books for my research because readin takes to long when it is in a book. I didnt get a lot of information out of the three books I signed out, I probably only got like five notes at the top. Reading just isn’t my thing.
I only get my information from two sources, the internet, and reading. I hope I can find more places where I can get it.

Spring Break!
For this spring break in 3 days I want to go to Melfort Saskatchewan, to visit my grandparents. I want to go but I can’t because my dad wants to stay here in this small town for the whole two weeks, but hopefully ill have fun and some of my friends won’t be leaving. I will probably go to my cabin, go skidooing, hang out with my friends, and stuff like that. I think ill have fun in Snow Lake, but id rather go visit my grandparents. It is a lot of fun there because I get to visit, go swimming in the big wave pool, go shopping and visit some of my other relatives that live there.

Shylanal!!!!! (Shyla and Lana)
Shyla and lana are ballers. They are my bestest friends. But shyla is way way too rude too me so she is just kinda my friend. Today in class she said that I was ugly and I should erase my face, but I just teased her back, and know were balling again. They are so cool. Lana is my friend also but she wont come skidooing with me so im madd at her. She is too scared to come. The are boyh my friends and I like them a lot. As friends. They are so cool. They have a nickname too…..Shylanal. It is cool. They are the bestest friends……….well that it bout them. We been friends since kindergarten…well got to jet..Byee……COOL YOUR JETS GUYS.

Skidooing yesterday!
Yesterday i went skidooing for about 3 hours. I went with Dustin, and Randy. Randy rode with me most of the time. When Randy was on the back of my skidoo,he jumped on the back bar on my skidoo, then i pinned it and we did a big catwalk. we were doing this for about 10 minuites, and each catwalk was 10 seconds long.We just went ripping around the lake. Then we met up with denis, jace, and boe and we went to the skateboard park with them to watch boe hit some big jumps. Then I had to go home because it got dark, and my skidoo has no light.

My weekend!
The last weekend I had, it was really fun. It was fun because on Friday we were all skidooing, it was only me Mike, Taiya and Ktie that were skidooing, then we had pizza at Katies, and then we went to taiya’s an we spent the night there. We went to bed a 5 a.m. In the morning about 8 a.m. we went to Thompson, with my friends, and I hung out with my friends at Taiya’s house. I went to Thompson with Katie, Mike, and Taiya. When we were is Thompson, we went shopping, and then taiya had to go to a braces appointment. When we got back from Thompson me and Mike had to go find some keys for a skidoo, that some guy was giving them. We had to search through three buildings. It was fun. When we got the key’s we went to the skidoo, and we started it. At first it wouldn’t drive, and then we had to spin the track and then it drove. When I was driving it, I pined it and it did a catwalk. That was the end of Saturday. On Sunday I went to there house on my skidoo, Mike and Dustin came too. We had a fire on the lake, with taiya’s parents, taiya’s, brother, Katies mom, and step dad, and some other people. It was really fun. I had to leave at 7 p.m though. They all stayed till 9p.m. That was pretty much my weekend. I thought it was really fun. Oh ya! I forgot that we also went to the zoo! I pet a deer, I saw an ugly peacoc, I saw some donkeys, wolves, chickens, geese, and other wierd animals. I also got to pet a wart hog. It was black.

Fires with friends!
In the winter me and all my friends have fires sometimes. We have the fires at poles hill, and by honkers hill. We usually take are skidoos there. Usually Dustin, me, Katie, and Mike take our skidoos. We usually get our wood from Dustins house, from wood on random trails, and from the woods. I like having fires on the lake because you cant get in trouble by the law, and you cant burn anything down.

2009 line up for ski-doo.
In the past month, the Ski-doo maker’s, came up with a new idea for ski-doo. They are really nice. My favourite is the summit. You could either have baby blue, or black. I think the baby blue is really ugly, but the black is nice. You can also have mxz’s, gtx’s, expeditions, free styles, scandics, and more. I wish I could afford to buy one, unfortunately I don’t have enough money. Skidooing is my favourite winter sport. It is my favourite sport because it is fun driving fast, it is also fun doing tricks like one skiers, and it gives me something to do in the winter other than sitting on the couch or at the computer.
